Fair Trade Coffee

Here at the Fair Trade Coffee house, we have been in operation since February 2004.

We service primarily the downtown crowd. This includes a wonderful and interesting mix of students, professionals and residents, workers, visitors, faculty, international students and wanderers.

We are not only committed to making great tasting coffee, but we are also committed to supporting small growers around the world.

Our team at Fair Trade Coffeehouse have served Equal Exchange coffee since the beginning.

Back in the fall of 2009 Equal Exchange have selected ten cafes and coffee houses around the country to participate in their 61 Beans challenge. We were one of few selected. 

As part of that program we have access to top quality boutique roasts and these are beans that are harvested and roasted in small batches - available for a limited time. In addition to our other great brews, we also offer the 61 Beans “coffee of the month”. 

Here, customers have become more knowledgeable about where their delicious coffee comes from and the characteristics of the grower coops.
