Clothes on the Line

Clothes on the Line info, products & news

Clothes on the line was establish in 2004, Julie Acevedo who saw authentic Guatemalan women hand weaving cotton and wool to make stunning handbags and many other products.

In a country where culture is treated with customs and traditions while living with modern day society, Guatemalan life still showcases and prides itself on its unique and organic production of organic textiles.

Organic textiles are simply made and are a way of life.

With the recent economy, they are forced to use nature’s resources to feed the livestock (sheep).

Cotton clothes are made with organic cotton fabric colors for clothing, using untreated raw wool for bags, is what have attracted customers to these special designed eco-friendly handbags and now clothing.

Clothes on the line started at a time when using sustainable fabrics and where going green were not top of mind.

The company knew becoming natural would eventually help the environment and help those who make the bags.
