Yoga in the Middle

Yoga in the MiddleYoga in the Middle, located in Castro Valley,  is the first yoga studio in Alameda to be certified as a green business. Our studio was constructed with eco-friendly materials, including cork floors, forest certified woods and non-toxic paints. Our props are made with organic and recycled cotton, hemp, rubber and cork. Our teachers have extensive training in yoga and related disciplines (physical therapy, exercise physiology, dance, education and massage therapy). We welcome students of all ages, sizes and levels of ability. We offer a FREE class weekly to students who walk, bike, take public transit or carpool - every Sunday, beginning January 3, 2010, 10:30-11:45am. We are located in the Village Galleria, adjacent to Castro Village - 1/2 mile from the Castro Valley BART station. There is a bike rack for cyclists. We also have classes for people with cancer, with scholarships available for anyone who needs them.
