What is Organic and why it's better for you

When it comes to Organic Food, it means that its production is truly natural and sustainable. Any land that produces the organic produce must be free from any form of  synthetic chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, for a minimum of three years.

The products must involve only the use of fertilizers and pesticides and these are strictly of animal or vegetable origin.

Here at Dearing Country Farms we also make every effort we can to utilize earth friendly and good conservation practices. We do crop rotation, soil conservation, wildlife preservation, organic land and plant buffering, nature conservancy, prairie and habitat restoration and an overall ethical respect for nature in general. Our team also employs biological diversity and this will ensure soil fertility and natural pest and weed control.

The great thing about organic produce is that it's much healthier than your average produce from conventional farms. You'll be getting better quality food - that is, food without the toxic chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, steroids, vaccines, and altered/modified genetics and the way it's produce is much more natural and sustainable as well. This means better for you and better for our environment.
