Baked pears is a very simple and delicious dish, created by one of our team - Dr. Jennifer Tufenkian. It is tasty and very Healthy to you.

We recommend using BOSC Pears for their more complex and interesting flavor --- but any pear in your fruit dish will work. The ingredients include pears - great source of vitamins and antioxidants and cinnamon - which will regular blood sugar and reduce cholesterol levels.

The first step is to Rinse the Pears - you can slice in half and core. Place the sliced side down in a baking dish. Add about 3/4 inch of water and sprinkle Pears with Cinnamon.

After that, bake at 350°F for about 90 minutes - until the pears are very soft when poked with a fork. The time will vary depending on the ripeness of the pears and the pears that you use.

Baked Pears are great plain for dessert, or with other meals - alongside Oatmeal or on taost.
