Feldenkrais Gentle, pain-free Neurological Re-educationMy practice specializes in immediate,measurable improvement of your range and ease of motion. Based upon applied neuroscience, Feldenkrais is effective with a wide variety of problems, from normal back spasm to bulging or herniated discs, from stroke paralysis to scoliosis, to neck, shoulder and joint problems throughout the body. I also work with improving performance with athletes in triathalon, running, golfing, or performers in dance and theater.   There are two parts to my program:  First: I teach hands-on table sessions, called "lessons," as their purpose is to re-educate your body to reclaim its original freedom of movement. Second: I teach group classes that train the client to create these changes and to relieve their pain themselves. I have introduced several innovations in my field, one is to teach movements that only take 1 to 3 minutes to create the benefits of an hour of movement.  My clientele tends to be highly motivated, open to learning, and excited about their ability to change.
