What is an Organic Mattress

One of the the questions we get asked a lot is, what exactly is an organic Mattress and exactly makes a mattress healthy.

We know that an “Organic Mattress” is technically a misnomer as there are no organic certification standards for Mattresses. Most of the time, an organic mattress just means a mattress that uses less or has zero synthetic ingredients and chemical additives. 

Generally, renewable natural ingredients like natural latex, organically grown cotton and sustainably produced wool are used are used in these organic mattresses. 

These natural materials are great for anyone with health concerns and also for those who are aiming for avoid petrochemical inputs. Most of the Organic mattresses that you see are desirable in an eco friendly matter as they are both compostable or recyclable - unlike your average conventional mattress.

We believe that a healthy choice for a mattresses means good support for your body, no discomfort and are made from materials that are free of artificial chemicals that can damage your health and the air quality of your home.
