Upper Meadows Organic Farm

Upper Meadows Organic Farm has been dedicated to sustainable holistic agriculture.
They Joining the Certified Organic community in 1991, they have maintained their certification ever since.

From their beginning on 4 1/2 acres they have evolved to their current size of 153 acres that is all certified organic.

They have expanded their vegetables production from the traditional kitchen garden, which remains as one of their fields, to over 12 acres today that serve their CSA membership producing over 200 varieties of vegetables, herbs and fruit. They are gradually expanding their Apple and Pear orchard.

They have dedicated an additional 1/2 acre to perennial flower production.

They make hay when the sun shines and rotate their grain crops, such as barley, oats, wheat, spelt, flax, corn, buckwheat, and rye.

All their livestock are pasture based. They are always working to improve and expand their pasture which they consider the foundation of our Agricultural health.
