Local Organic Co-Op

Here at Common Ground, we are a local Co-Op with a passion for affordable, local, organic and fresh groceries.

Many people have asked us about what Co-Ops actually are. We believe that co-ops are organisations who are in business to provide what their owners want - that is, co-ops should be controlled democratically by their owners.

We like to keep out economic benefits within the community and we do this by creating creating jobs, selling local produce, supporting local producers and suppliers whenever possible. 

Here, profit is not siphoned off by outside interests and this means that profit will never be put before the needs of our community.

Buying Locally Grown Food is the best way to keep you healthy and is also the best way to support your community.
